Dr. Wade Skinner attended Auburn University Montgomery for his undergraduate studies in business marketing. He obtained a doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus in 2016.

His inspiration to become a Chiropractor came from a back injury that led him in search for alternative methods of healing other than medications.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Sara and boating. He also enjoys staying active, teaching patients and enjoying all the things the outdoors has to offer.

Dr. West has been practicing chiropractic for over 23 years. Dr. West received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition and Fitness from Florida State University and is a very loyal Seminole football fan.

She then went on to graduate with Cum Laude honors with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the well known Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia.

Dr. West is a native New Yorker. She was fortunate enough to spend her first two years practicing and being mentored by one of the most successful chiropractors in Brooklyn, NY. In fact she was practicing in NYC when 9/11 occurred. She served on site with the Red Cross as a Chiropractic volunteer and delivered much needed chiropractic care to the firemen and police officers.

Dr. West is an avid runner and has completed both full and half marathons. In the winters she enjoys spending time on the ski slopes of Utah and Colorado with her son. She has also done many challenging hikes up 14,000 foot mountains and has even hiked Mt. Whitney the highest mountain in the continental U.S..

After having a successful practice in the Kansas City, Missouri area for 20 years, Dr. West sold her clinic and moved back to her beloved college city of Tallahassee. She was given an amazing opportunity by her colleague, Dr. Wade Skinner to run his chiropractic clinic, Balanced Chiropractic Institute here in Tallahassee.
